“We feel very fortunate to have found Katy at Mother Earth's Children Family Childcare to care for our son. The environment is loving, clean, and safe. I love the fact that our childcare provider has a formal degree in child development and a high level of experience in different child care environments. All of the activities the children participate in are fun and great for their development. We also appreciate the small family feel, I know my son is getting the attention that he needs.... much different from our past experience at a large day care facility where the staff seemed as if they were just trying to make it through the day. Our son is excited every morning when I drop him off. In fact, sometimes when I arrive to pick him up after a long day he does not want to leave! “We know Katy from when she was our oldest daughter's first teacher at Campbell Child Development Center. She left CCDC on maternity leave and we were heartbroken (although thrilled and excited for her) when she chose not return to CCDC but rather opened her own day care center. Maggie absolutely loved her. And Katy made such an impression on her that it's been about two years since she left CCDC but Maggie still remembers Katy fondly. In fact, just last week she informed me out of the blue that she wants to have a playdate with "old Katy". I know other moms whose children are/were in Katy's home-based program and they also can't say enough wonderful things about her.
