Alicia Carrillo - Infant Teacher

Picture
Alicia Carrillo is a teacher in our Spanish-immersion infant program and has worked at Mother Earth’s Children since December of 2010. Originally from Guadalajara, Mexico, Alicia enjoys spending time with her family (including four beautiful children), sharing her daily experiences with them, and taking her younger children to soccer practice. She also enjoys going on bike rides and attending soccer games. Through her work in child care, Alicia has realized that one can never stop learning, that children will always surprise you! Through this experiential realization, Alicia began her journey through higher education at DeAnza College in the field of Child Development. Her educational goals are to receive her degree in Child Development in order to improve her professional performance and for personal growth. It has always been her goal to work with children in a professional environment and feels that much of the time it is she who is learning from the children rather than vice-versa. She is motivated to continue to gain more knowledge about the field of early childhood education.
